Beyond 'Pani Da Rang': More Easy Hindi Guitar Songs to Learn

Entertainment

Has Pani Da Rang been conquered on your guitar? First things first-high five. That one has a lovely vibe to it-and it is usually the very first song that a beginner tries to play in Hindi. But the question in your mind now is: what’s next? Don’t worry, there are plenty more easy guitar songs Hindi fans like you and me can enjoy learning.

When I first bought a guitar, it felt like I was lost. And then there were these Hindi songs that made it so much fun and easy. If you are like me and love music that speaks to your heart, keep reading.

I’ll share the songs that kept me inspired through times of difficulty.

1. Tujhe Dekha To- Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Let me tell you honestly, that song is pure emotion. Anytime I strum the chords for Tujhe Dekha To, a smile appears on my lips. It has very easy and repetitive chord progressions, which help in the practice. Upon playing it for my parents, I saw their eyes suddenly shining brightly. That very moment still gives me goosebumps.

2. Jeene Laga Hoon – Ramaiya Vastavaiya

This one is a truly feel-good song. It used only a few basic chords, and the rhythm was pretty slow and steady. I had this song to entertain my little cousin as she danced around in the living room. Never was I perfect, but we were having the time of our lives.

3. Tum Hi Ho – Aashiqui 2

True, it sounds intense, but I swear it’s easier for beginners. If you ever get to the point of memorizing the pattern of chords, the emotion within the lyrics will just grab you. I practiced this during late nights, and whenever life came in difficult waves, it calmed me down.

4. Muskurane – CityLights

The gentle flow of this song makes it an excellent choice if you want to calm down. I remember learning it during the monsoons while sipping my tea. It was raining, and there I was strumming inside. That feeling; you can only imagine how magical it was.

5. Gulabi Aankhen – Old Is Gold

The classic song remains forever fresh. It is good for having light fun and jamming. I had taken this guitar to a college picnic once, and as I started playing this one, everybody began to sing with me; it is one of those great unifier songs.

Tips to Keep Going

There are times while learning the guitar when you’ll be upset. Your fingers will hurt, your chords will buzz, and you’ll make plenty of mistakes. Ya, it is a part of the processes. Keep showing up, even on the days when you really feel stuck. Play just for fun, not for perfection.

Conclusion

If you’re just getting started or picking up your guitar again, try these songs. Let each note take you back to a memory or help you create a new one. And who knows, maybe one day, you’ll be the one teaching someone else their first song. Just like someone did for me.
